👃 ghānena gandhaṃ ghāyitvā |
With-the-nose, odors (he) smells.
👅 jivhāya rasaṃ sāyitvā |
With-the-tongue, flavors (he) tastes
👆 kāyena phoṭṭhabbaṃ phusitvā |
With-the-body, tactile-sensations (he) senses.
💭 manasā dhammaṃ viññāya |
With-the-mind, ideas (he) cognizes.

AN 10.20 : 3rd jhana reacting to 6aya):
bhikkhu chaḷ-aṅga-samannāgato hoti?
cakkhunā rūpaṃ disvā
(with) eyes, form (he) sees,
neva su-mano hoti na dum-mano,
neither elated nor distressed,
upekkhako viharati sato sampajāno.
{he abides as} an equanimous-observer, (a) rememberer, (a) lucid-discerner.
